ABOUT
Working as a sociologist, I often ran into situations which could be turned into interesting stories on the screen. One dark evening, a newsreader announced that Fair Trade companies did not buy beans from the coffee farmers anymore. Scandalized, I wrote a two-page story draft, about Conchita and her coffee beans, put it in a drawer and got my students through their exams. Conchita is just like me at that age: Leaving home and travelling far away to discover hidden possibilities.
I started to train as a scriptwriter and do research about global coffee trade and the Maya people. That started my first script. I found out how much I love writing and have now four scripts: two are ready for the market and two are in development. They are all bout social issues and with female protagonists, who reach their goals. After all.

BACKGROUND
A jigsaw of courses, seminars, masterclasses, webinars and festivals: EFM and Cannes.
I started from scratch.
The basics at the Script Factory in London, etc.
The professional level at the European Union’s MEDIA, etc.
Post graduate level: The Danish Film School, etc. Professional educational offers on the web.
My academic background is a good help doing research for each script. The stories are close to reality. Drafts have been sent to acclaimed script writing services for evaluation and suggestions.
I have lived and worked in Holland, Sweden and Spain before I settled in Denmark. I like to talk with people in their own language. So that’s what I do.
VOICE
In-spite-of my years as an academic, my working-class background still glimpses through. But on my way, events and experiences have colored it.
Years of activity as a grass-root have also affected the way I express myself. When the situation calls for it, I call a spade a spade. In other situations, I nurse my language. Some situations ask for carefully chosen words to catch the mood in a scene. There is a lot of me in each script. In different ways.
Somehow, my protagonists end up being female. After all, I know them best.
